Another container ship for the Hamburg shipowner E.R. Schiffahrt is to be officially named today at the Hyundai Mipo shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea.

The name will be given by H. S. Hwang, the wife of C. G. Kim, Senior Executive Vice President of the Hyundai Mipo shipyard.

The sub-Panamax class newbuilding will go into service next Thursday under the charter name "CMA CGM Anemone" for the French liner company CMA CGM. It will link the Asia Pacific region with the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal, in “BEX2” service.

The mv E.R. MARTINIQUE has a container capacity of 2,824 TEU and is continuing the expansion course of the Hamburg based Nordcapital Group – this increases the operating fleet to a total of 67 container ships, with a container capacity of about 315,000 TEU.

By spring 2009, eight Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) will be added, and another eleven container ships with more than 30,000 TEU. Seven of these will likewise be built at Hyundai in South Korea.
