Newly delivered ship from Aker Yards in Germany
CAPE MAGNUS completed this month for Schoeller Holdings...






Aker Yards Ostsee shipyard in Rostock Warnemünde recently delivered the 2700 TEU container vessel CAPE MAGNUS for the Cyprus-based company Schoeller Holdings Ltd.


The vessel is 221.6 metres in length with a breadth of 29.8 metres.

She is powered by a MAN 2-stroke main engine, 21,770 kW at 108 rpm giving a speed of 22 knots.


She has a deadweight of 37,800 tons and flies the Marshall Islands flag and will be owned by Schoeller's subsidiary, HANSE Bereederung GmbH. It is understood she will be on charter to COSCO
