FAR SHOGUN

Norwegian shipyard delivers new vessel to Farstad
STX Norway in Langsten delivers FAR SHOGUN...





Newbulding No. 713, FAR SHOGUN (AHTS UT731CD) was delivered yesterday Thursday 28 January, from STX Norway Offshore AS, Langsten, to Farstad Supply AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Farstad Shipping ASA. The vessel will trade the spot market in the North Sea.

The vessel is designed with:

Clean Design
High Bollard Pull capacity
Hybrid propulsion system
Total propulsion effect: 15 000 kW on main propellers + up to 1 800 kW on azimuth thruster
Stand-by Rescue
NOFO 2005, Oil Recovery
