Meet your navy with elegance and dash
One of the world's most beautiful ships will take part at Portsmouth...

One of the world’s most elegant tall ships plus the Red Arrows have been confirmed as attractions at Meet Your Navy in Portsmouth this summer.

The Brazilian Navy training vessel CISNE BRANCO will be open to visitors throughout the extravaganza at Portsmouth Naval Base from July 25-27.

The three-masted tall ship was launched in 1999 and is used to train officers and cadets for Brazil’s navy.

The world-renowned Red Arrows will take to the skies on the opening day, entertaining the crowds with a spectacular display.

Naval Base Commander, Commodore David Steel, said: “The CISNE BRANCO and Red Arrows are two huge attractions which will add something extra special to Meet Your Navy. Wherever they go in the world they attract huge crowds and we are delighted they could accommodate Meet Your Navy in their busy schedules.”

Also confirmed are flying displays on all three days by the RN Historic Flight and modern-day RN helicopters. The Royal Marines will also get in on the act with a dazzling harbour display, fast-roping onto a vessel to rescue a damsel in distress.

Royal Navy vessels of all shapes and sizes will be open to the public during Meet Your Navy and a fleet of foreign navy ships will also be on show.
