Donate £14 to charity and get
free cruise to Amsterdam
To celebrate its anniversary, DFDS Seaways are giving away cruises to
Amsterdam, all you have to do is donate to UNICEF or Children North
East...
Sailing from Newcastle to Amsterdam on the 11th December the charity
cruise break includes two nights onboard, coach transfers to and from
the city centre, a coach sightseeing tour and all the onboard
activities and facilities you would expect from DFDS Seaways.
Everyone who books for the Charity Cruise simply chooses whether to
donate £14, £20 or £30 per person to either Children North East or
UNICEF.
Your short break really does start the moment you step onboard. With
numerous bars and restaurants, live entertainment, casino, night club
and shops there is plenty to keep you amused.
Amsterdam is a vibrant and eclectic city offering something for
everyone. Spend your time browsing the shops, visiting museums and the
zoo, wandering the canals or simply soak up the atmosphere.
Children North East is the region’s longest established children’s
charity providing vital help, emotional and practical support to
families with young children who are facing difficulties. UNICEF has
been the world’s leading charity for children for over 60 years,
working on the ground in more than 150 countries to help children
survive and thrive.
John Crummie, UK Managing Director of DFDS Seaways commented: “We
organised a charity cruise last year to celebrate our 140th
anniversary, and it proved so popular that we have decided to repeat
it this year.
“The charity cruise breaks are an excellent way for people to give
much needed donations to some very worthwhile causes, whilst enjoying
a relaxing trip to Amsterdam. We have worked with Children North East
for many years but it’s also good to help children on an international
scale through UNICEF.”
