Aker shipyards deliver new cruise ship for Color Line
COLOR MAGIC, billed as a 'cruise ship with car deck'




Aker Yards delivered on 6 September 2007 for Color Line a sister vessel to mv COLOR FANTASY, the world's largest cruise ferry (or as Aker put it 'cruise ship with car deck') that was delivered in December 2004.


The new vessel is called COLOR MAGIC and will serve on the Oslo - Kiel route..

She is Color Line´s second cruise ferry, and has a wide variety of entertainment and conference areas.

The ship was built partly at the yard in Turku, and partly at the yard in Rauma.

Length: 223.7 m
Breadth: 35 m
Engine output: 48,600 kW
Gross tonnage: 75,000
Speed: 22 knots
