Latest 10000 super containership heading for Felixstowe
COSCO ASIA leaves Tianjin on her maiden voyage


The maiden voyage ceremony of COSCO ASIA was held at the Port of Tianjin today August 9, 2007.

COSCO ASIA, built by HHI, at 10062TEU, is the largest container vessel in the COSCO fleet.

The vessel has a high-level of automation and is very environmentally friendly say her builders being classed by Lloyd's Register to stringent environmental standards.

COSCO ASIA will be phased in the COSCON's Asia Europe Service 4 (AE4).

The port rotation of AE4 is:
Xiamen - Yantian - Hong kong - Nansha - Hamburg - Felixstowe -Rotterdam - Antwerp - Singapore - Xiamen.
