V.Group and Norstar aim for Chinese shipbuilding market
New joint venture in shipbroking and newbuild placement

 

V.Commercial, a business unit of V.Group, the world’s largest supplier of marine support services and leading ship broker Norstar have launched V.Star Shanghai, a 50/50 joint venture.

V.Star Shanghai is focusing primarily on the brokerage and placement of newbuild orders at Chinese shipyards. It will also add value to its services by cooperating closely with SeaTec, a V.Ships company already well-established as a consultant to Chinese shipyards. SeaTec offers support ranging from on-site supervision to design and general consultation.
