Fred Olsen hit by another sickness bug on board ship
Passengers from BLACK WATCH taken to hospital suffering flu like symptoms

Another cruise ship in the Fred Olsen fleet has been struck by a mystery bug.

Seven elderly passengers are being treated in a Stockholm hospital, taken there on Saturday, after they showed symptoms that are being compared to Legionnaires Disease.

The cruise ship is returning to Dover today - two days earlier than planned.

In a statement Fred Olsen cruises said that the safety and well being of their passengers was paramount and that all steps would be taken to rid the ship of any bacteria if found.

Of the seven persons taken ill, six are UK residents and one is from Portugal.

Last year the company's BLACK PRINCE was affected by two virus outbreaks.

BLACK WATCH was originally built as the ROYAL VIKING STAR in 1972. Fred Olsen purchased her from RCL in 1996, when she was called STAR ODYSSEY.
