Finalising trials before delivery around the end of the week
Bodewes Shipyards of the Netherlands are finalising the completion of
the mv HERMANN SCAN this week.
Today around 15:00 hours she arrived in the harbour of Delfzijl.
Tomorrow the seatrials will take place and on Wednesday the testing of
the cranes and freefall lifeboat.
If all the equipment on board has been thoroughly tested and approved
by class, the delivery to the owner will take place on Thursday or
Friday.
She is the eleventh vessel for Reederei Hermann Buss from Leer,
Germany. Before this six 4450 DWAT, one 5400 DWAT and three 7800 DWAT
vessels where delivered to this owner.
