Maersk wins Best Global Shipping Line - again!
Wins for 14th consecutive year at AFSCA

Maersk Line was named 'Best Global Shipping Line' at the 21st Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs) ceremony held in Macau, 26 April 2007. In addition, Maersk Line was awarded 'Best Shipping Line Asia-Europe' and 'Best Shipping Line Transpacific'.

Held once a year, the AFSCAs are widely recognised by the Asian logistics and shipping industry. Presented by the publication Cargonews Asia, the awardees are selected by readers, who vote for their favourite companies in the different categories.

"We appreciate the support of our customers and the confidence shown in our services as demonstrated by the vote for Maersk Line," says Tim Smith, Chief Commercial Officer, Maersk China Ltd. "We are committed to truly understanding our customers and their business, and to developing high quality, reliable tailor-made services to meet their requirements."

Maersk Line has been awarded the 'Best Global Shipping Line' for 14 consecutive years and also the Asia Europe trade accolade for 18 years successively. The Transpacific trade award has been won by Maersk Line 15 times in the last 17 years.
