Container ship launched in Gdynia for Netherlands shipbuilders
After more outfitting will go for completion at Hoogezand

The EMSCARRIER, a 5400 dwt Multi Purpose Container Vessel which is under construction in the port of Gdynia, has been launched for Bodewes Shipyards of the Netherlands

The vessel, a sister vessel of ms EMSRUNNER, has been transported on a pontoon to the dry-dock of Stocznia Gdynia.

The launching operation took place in the dock.

The vessel is now being towed to a berth in the Port of Gdynia where she will stay for approximately 1 month. During this period the superstructure will be placed and some more outfitting work will be done.

Later on the vessel will be towed to the Jachtwijk shipyard in Hoogezand where she will be completed and delivered to the owner after the sea trials.
