Craig Group vessel named GRAMPIAN TALISMAN at launch
First of two designs launched at Balenciaga Shipyard

The latest North Star Shipping PSV, the Grampian Talisman was launched on the 22nd March 2007 at the Balenciaga Shipyard in Northern Spain.

The vessel was named by Miss Samantha Craig.

The ship, which is designated as an NSS-IMT 978 design, will commence a multi year contract with Talisman Energy upon delivery.

This is the first of two identical sister ships being built for North Star Shipping and is the seventh of ten newbuild vessels launched by the yard for North Star.

North Star Shipping is a member of the Aberdeen-based Craig Group of companies.
