Universal deliver new ship
Japanese shipbuilders deliver the BARILOCHE
 

On 28th March 2007 Universal Shipbuilding delivered the BARILOCHE to Pine Maritime Corporation.

The 39,643 grt Panamax bulk carrier was built at the Maizuru shipyard.

She is 225 metres long with a deadweight tonnage of 75,395 tons

Powered by MAN B&W engines she has a speed of 14.5 knots

There are five shipyards in the Universal Shipbuilding Corporation which was formed on October 1st 2002 with the merger of NKK Corporation and Hitachi Zosen Corporation.

The ship sails under the Panama flag.
