Gulf Maritime
2007Organisers say it is the premier maritime exhibition in the region The fifth annual GULF MARITIME 2007 will take place from April 16 - 18, 2007 and is set to sail even further and continue its role as the premier event for the commercial, government, leisure and military maritime world in the Middle East. The first GULF MARITIME in 2003 performed remarkably despite the then stormy political weather. As an international event it showed its support to the United Arab Emirates maritime industry by persevering to present an outstanding show despite the simultaneous war in Iraq. The second event in 2004 showed GULF MARITIME's true potential. Exhibitor numbers and exhibit space increased by fifty per cent. Qualified trade visitor numbers jumped by a whopping sixty per cent. The third edition in 2005 has firmly encased Gulf Maritime as the premier maritime exhibition in the Middle East. The exhibition featured over 180 exhibitors from 26 countries and attracted 2,401 visitors from 48 countries. Gulf Maritime now, is easily the largest maritime exhibition in the region, and is a must "Visit" for every player in the regions maritime sector, say the organisers.
