No Luck
Reports are coming in of a vessel that has been destroyed by fire in the Somali port of Kismayu.
The vessel is said to have contained the last consignment of charcoal from Somalia, as such shipments have been decreed as illegal by the Somali government. The cargo is reported to be worth $150,000

Captain named as suspect
The Jakarta Post reports that police have named Andi Kurniawan and Mualim I. Sumaryo, the captain and co-captain of the ferry that went on fire in Indonesia's Thousand Islands with the deaths of at least 18 people, as suspects following two days of interrogation.

German Minesweeper Off Rocks
The German Type 332 Frankenthal class minesweeper GROMITZ (M1064) has gone to a Norwegian naval base near Bergen after having stranded on rocks. She was pulled off by the supply vessel BOURBON DOLPHIN
